My wife and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! Great location (we walked to the Nelson, dinner at Trio Cafe, brunch at Wylie Hall and even a late night QT run for ice cream). We stayed on the third floor in the Steve McQueen room. The atmosphere and interior design/decor is fantastic. We also appreciated the contactless check-in and check-out (the front door and our room had codes to enter). The two rooms on the main floor are so beautiful. I wish we had more time, I could have played the piano—maybe next time. Everything throughout the property is clearly labeled and easily located. You really can’t beat the vibe and location of the Aida hotel. We can’t wait to come back! 5/5 we would recommend (and already have to friends and family). Thank you again, Ryan & David!

The Aida is a fabulous boutique hotel! We come to KC to visit our son fairly often and either stay here or the Truitt. The rooms are beautiful and common areas very well decorated and inviting. I have met many staff members and the owners, Ryan and David are warm and friendly hosts. I will only stay at either of Ryan and David’s boutique hotels when in Kansas City! Cheers to many more visits!

My wife and I absolutely adored this hotel. Hidden in the arts district and right across from the Nelson-Atkins Museum. It was very cozy and quiet and perfect for a Valentine’s get away. We were greeted with red and pink balloons, chocolates from a local shop, and they offered champagne in the evening. Every detail of the hotel was carefully thought out and we even booked our next stay for May before we even left town.

My partner and I stayed over Valentines weekend and loved it so much that we booked our next stay before we even left. We found it to be both cozy and welcoming. As with any accommodations, you will hear some light closing of doors, etc but it did not detract from our experience at all. The attention to detail in each room we explored was very much appreciated and admired. We especially love the green-drenched sitting room and the garden terrace. We can’t wait to come back over memorial weekend for my birthday, and at least quarterly just to get away. The location, the aesthetics, the responsiveness of the owners… it’s honestly our favorite place we’ve ever stayed. Thank you for a lovely weekend and we will see you in May! -AB & Diana

We recently celebrated a friend’s birthday with a mini staycation in KC. I couldn’t be more thrilled to have stayed at Aida Hotel! I loved walking the rooms to admire the art, the lighting, the books; honestly everything!! The hotel is truly one of a kind, and I’m glad to have had the opportunity to experience it.

We loved our stay at Aida hotel! The check in process was super simple and didn't require interacting with anyone - we simply filled out an online form and then were provided all the information we needed via email. The room was gorgeous and the bed was super comfortable. Ryan and David even left us a special treat in the room from a local business which was so thoughtful and delicious! I loved the stay and will definitely stay here again during future trips to KC!

Great experience! My wife and I were in KC celebrating my wife's birthday. I accidentally booked the two nights a day earlier than I should have and realized the day before. I called the emergency number, and talked to Ryan. Ryan was very kind and understanding, he was able to make the adjustments while we were on the phone. The whole vibe is classy, eclectic, rock and roll, and artistic. Which my wife loved so much and drew inspiration from our stay. For me, It was great coming "home" to a cozy/private environment after all the shopping. My wife said this was her best birthday ever. The Aida was a huge part of that! Thank you Ryan and David.

The Aida is a gem of a boutique hotel located in the heart of the museum and UMKC district. The digital check in is seamless. The common area is very well appointed and comfy. We booked a suite with a sitting area, but found the common area to be a delightful draw. The hotel was very clean and an amenities closet is available for luggage storage and any extras you may need. Our room (2B) was spacious and had lots of natural light. The bed, a Casper mattress, was super comfy, the sheets high end. Why 4 stars for the room? The WC is tiny and has no ventilation. I’m 5’4 and my knees touched the door when closed. Also, the glass shower offers no privacy from the rest of the room—fine for us, but maybe a bit awkward for more modest guests. Nonetheless, we’d definitely stay there again and would love to see what the other bespoke rooms look like. There is no restaurant on site but coffee and nibbles are available in the hall pantry and there are snacks for purchase in the room. And nearby there is a cafe and just across the street in the Contemporary Art Museum is a gourmet restaurant—Oil and Linen, which we loved. Oh and the free trolly is just two blocks away and will take you through all parts of the city and down to the waterfront.
